Joe Sintov, former Illini and retired actuary with over 30 years of retirement consulting experience, will demonstrate how to use the actuarial directory database to expand your job search, as well as share his own experiences within the industry. This is a great workshop for those still looking for jobs or internships for this summer, and even for future job hunts!

Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop.

Alfred Au will be returning to campus to host a Career Workshop given his experiences studying and working in the U.S. with his non-U.S. background. Some career topics he'll be going over includes networking, interviewing, and how to leverage your experiences while being a student.

Alfred Au is a principal with Milliman’s Financial Risk Management practice in Chicago. He has extensive experience in the financial management of variable annuities including Statutory reporting, GAAP reporting, hedging operation and strategies, and mergers and acquisitions.
