The Actuarial Science Club (ASC) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is proud to present our Annual Spring Banquet, featuring prominent alumni and well-known figures in the actuarial domain.
What is the Banquet ?
It is our mission to focus on the future and further improve the actuarial field, yet it would not be possible without those who have made an impact, including the alumni and prominent figures who have contributed a great amount to the risk management domain and the students pursuing a career in this field at UIUC. Our Annual Spring Banquet is an event tailored towards alumni who have made an impact in the actuarial field, as well as students who strive towards excellence and are motivated to become the future of actuarial science.
At this event, alumni and those in the actuarial science field can connect new students in the actuarial science program at UIUC, letting students and alumni foster a connection based on their common interests and career paths. The ASC offers many programs for students to expand their network and deepen their understanding of the field, including an ASC Family System and our Alumni Mentorship Program (AMP), and networking programs for students striving to make a name in the industry. UIUC offers multiple opportunities for actuarial science and risk management students, of which I-Risk Lab and Axis Risk Management Academy (ARMA) have made a statement in the student domain. The Spring Banquet will expand upon these opportunities and recognize alumni for their achievements and impact made in the field and on the university’s risk management students and ASC members
Details & Date
The annual Spring Banquet will be held at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center, on April 10, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Guests, regardless of alum status, will be able to connect and enjoy a meal with students and faculty, with more information on the signup sheet linked above. We hope to see you there, ready to enjoy and spend a night celebrating the past and exploring the future of actuarial science at UIUC.
