The Workshops Committee helps with coordinating speakers, cultivating student interest, and navigating the challenges of creating a successful experience for the annual spring symposium. Committee members also help with planning spring semester workshops.

The Publicity Committee assists in strengthening the Actuarial Science Club’s connection with alumni by creating the Fall and Spring Alumni Newsletters. The committee also helps with the club’s website development as well as media presence.

Operations Committee

Led by: Sam Jourdan

The Operations Committee assists in keeping track of club attendance, which includes putting together the spring incentive sheet. Members also focus time on ASC’s budget report and track club expenditure.

International Committee

The International Committee organizes a series of events, such as the international student dinners, and the International Job Search Workshop. These events aim to encourage international students to engage with the local community and help them obtain actuarial jobs inside or outside the United States.

Social Committee

The Social Committee helps coordinate and promote the club’s social events including but not limited to Barn Dance, Semi-Formal, and the Bar Crawl to build engagement and give students an opportunity to meet their peers outside of the classroom.
